How to Use Know Brainer Ball

Follow these simple steps to maximize engagement, enrichment, and playtime for your dog. For smaller breeds, the tips of the Fan Reward Dispenser fins can be trimmed to your desired opening size, allowing treats to dispense more easily as the ball rolls.

1. Introducing the Know Brainer Ball
Fill the DOGORA Know Brainer Ball with your dog’s favourite treats, kibble, or snacks using the Fan Reward Dispenser. For first-time use, we recommend breaking treats into smaller pieces so they can easily dispense as the ball rolls. This helps your dog understand how the toy works and encourages engagement. You can also assist by gently removing treats from the ball during the learning stage to build confidence and interaction.

2. When to Increase Treat or Kibble Size
Once your dog understands how to release rewards, you can gradually increase the challenge.

• For smaller breeds: After your dog learns to roll the ball consistently and the fin openings have been adjusted, larger treats or kibble can be added to extend playtime and increase difficulty.
• For medium to larger breeds: Once your dog begins squeezing the ball with their jaw, you can increase the size of the treats or kibble to create a more stimulating challenge.

3. Increase the Challenge
As your dog becomes more experienced with the Know Brainer Ball, you can make playtime even more enriching by increasing the difficulty level.

• Stack larger treats or snacks, such as baby carrots, over the Fan Reward Dispenser to partially block the opening and slow reward release.
• Insert a bully stick directly through the center of the ball while adding kibble or treats inside for a multi-functional enrichment experience.
• Mix different treat sizes to encourage problem-solving and longer engagement sessions.

4. Add a Frozen Treat Option
For a refreshing and longer-lasting enrichment activity, blend yogurt, kefir, berries, or other pet-safe ingredients and fill the interior of the ball. Place the ball on parchment paper and freeze for 3+ hours for the perfect summer cooldown treat.

You can also spread yogurt or peanut butter along the textured exterior surface and freeze for additional licking stimulation and extended playtime.
